Our company, NIPPON SHIELD Cooperation, provides environment-friendly solutions to efficiently remove oil-related pollutions and reduce the waste quantity by solidifying the oily waste. Our products can treat:
1) accidental oil spills on hard surfaces or in water bodies
2) a contaminant source in a polluted site by immobilization
3) emulsified industrial wastewater
4) oily waste from food processing industries

All products in Refs series absorb and coagulate oils of different types while the product itself remains dry and powdery after use. They all can be incinerated after absorbing oils, so they could be used as a fuel in a power station.

Refs-A organics absorbent

It absorbs and coagulates oils and solvents. After reacting with its target organics, it remains dry and powdery, enabling an easy, quick, and clean collection of treated waste.

Refs-AG suspended organics absorbent

It is a liquid-suspended version of Refs-A. It can be pumped away to treat oil spills in water bodies and be easily collected as it floats after the absorption of spilled oils.

Refs-E demulsifier

It separates the oily phase of emulsified waste liquids from industrial processing and washing. Absorbed phase can be filtered out for collection. Only a small amount is needed to absorb impurities and oils from emulsified industrial wastewater.

Refs-ENC non-chloride demulsifier

It is a non-chloride version of Refs-E. It will not form chlorinated byproduct after the treatment, and will not corrode the metal equipment; hence, the treated water can be recycled.

Refs-T animal & vegetable oil solidifier

It absorbs and coagulates the oils from food processing industries. Used when the oil is cooled to ambient temperature, it will not ignite accidentally.

Refs-TH animal & vegetable fat and oil solidifier

It treats heavily viscous oils and fatty waste from meat processing industries. Like Refs-T, it is used at ambient temperature and will not ignite.

Refs-ST organics absorbent for hard surfaces

It is a mixture of Refs-A with perlite; so treats the same targets. It can be used on road and hard-surfaces to collect spilled oils without leaving an oil film on the surface.
