Refs-E / Refs-ENC
Refs-E
Refs-E separates the oily phase of emulsified waste liquids from industrial processing such as cutting fluids from metalworking and washing of fuel tanks and various reservoirs. Absorbed phase can be filtered out for collection. Only a small amount is needed to absorb impurities and oils from emulsified industrial wastewater within a short reaction time (10 - 15 minutes). It greatly reduces the waste quantity to minimize the cost in waste treatment.Refs-ENC
Refs-ENC is a non-chloride version of Refs-E. It will not form chlorinated byproduct after the treatment, and will not corrode the metal equipment; hence, the treated water can be reused.Refs-E / Refs-ENC Before - After

Characteristics
1. It can treat highly-concentrated emulsified industrial wastewater2. Only a small amount is necessary for the treatment, hence, the quantity of formed sludge remains small consequently
3. Refs-ENC does not contain chlorides, so the treated water can be reused as it is little corrosive
4. Formed sludge can float so it can be used directly in an on-site separation tank and pumped out after the treatment
5. Once filtered, formed sludge remains dry and powdery
How to use
1. Transfer the industrial wastewater into a mixing tank (submergible mixer can be used in a separation tank)*2. Neutralize the wastewater to pH 6 - 8 (it increases the flocculation capacity and decreases the quantity of Refs E/ENC to be added)
3. Depending on the oil concentration of the wastewater to be treated, add 0.5 - 2 % (w/v) of Refs E/ENC**
4. Thoroughly mix the mixture for 10 - 15 minutes
5. Flocculation sludge will form (if necessary or wished, add 0.1 % polymer coagulant and mix slowly for 30 seconds to allow easy collection of the formed sludge but too much floc will slow down the succeeding filtration process)
6. Filter the formed sludge (or the floc if coagulant is added) using a filter cloth
*if there is an oil phase in the wastewater to be treated, add Refs-A first to remove this oil phase
**for recommendation, try 1 % (w/v) first and adjust the quantity of Refs E/ENC so as to minimize the use
Storage
1. Refs-E/ENC slightly absorbs humidity, so keep the product dry2. Avoid the exposure to the sun and high temperatures
3. Use the product within 8 months
Attentions
1. The treated water must be controlled before releasing2. When the formed sludge is incinerated, depending on the target oil to be separted, it may produce a harmful gas. In such a case, treat the smoke properly.
