Refs-T / Refs-TH

Refs-T absorbs and coagulates the animal and vegetable oils from food processing industries. Refs-TH can be used also for fatty waste as it treats heavily viscous oils from meat processing industries. They must be used when the oil is cooled to ambient temperatures.

Characteristics

1. It can solidify a mixture of oils (animal, vegetal and mineral)
2. It absorbs only the oil and not the water,
3. It floats after the treatment, so the collection of solidified oil waste is quick and easy
4. Add only 10 - 25 % (w/w) of Refs-T/TH to the oil to be treated
5. It can be incinerated without ashes

How to use

1. Shake/Mix well Refs-T/TH before use
2. If the oily waste to be treated do not contain water, add approximately 5% (v/v) of water to the waste*
3. Add 10 - 25 % (w/w) of Refs-T/TH and mix thoroughly with the oil mixture to increase the contact**
4. Leave the mixture for 10 - 20 minutes
5. Remove the solidified oil waste and discard properly or incinerate the waste

*Refs-T/TH work better with oils floating on the water
**If the fatty waste is very viscous to mix well with Refs-TH, add some oil to decrease its viscosity

Storage

Avoid the exposure to the sun and high temperatures and keep the product dry.

Attentions

1. Shake and mix Refs-T/TH before use
2. Use under ambient temperatures and when the oily waste to be treated is at ambient temperature
